Cynthia L. Perrin:

Firmly believing in the importance of pro bono service, Ms. Perrin is a member of the Pro Bono Attorney Panel at the Harriett Buhai Center for Family Law.  The Center’s mission is protecting victims of domestic violence, improving the welfare of children living in poverty, and assuring that people in need have meaningful access to the courts.  Ms. Perrin also serves as a volunteer Daily Settlement Officer for the Los Angeles County Bar Family Section and is a volunteer mediator with the Ventura County Superior Court.  

Ms. Perrin relocated to Ventura County in 2012 after being Of Counsel at Phillips Jessner LLP, a prestigious boutique family law firm located in downtown Los Angeles.  Ms. Perrin joined Phillips Jessner LLP after being Senior Counsel with Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Inc., where she handled a variety of entertainment-related negotiations and transactions.  Prior to working at Warner Bros., Ms. Perrin was a litigation associate at the law firm Morrison & Foerster LLP, where she participated in diverse litigation matters in federal and state court, representing large corporations and public entities, and also handled many complex family law matters.  Prior to her time at Morrison & Foerster, Ms. Perrin served as a law clerk to the Honorable Robert J. Kelleher, United States District Judge, Central District of California.


Ms. Perrin received her J.D., cum laude, from Loyola Law School, where she was a notes editor of the Loyola Law Review and named Order of the Coif. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of California Los Angeles where she majored in Psychology, receiving departmental honors.

Cynthia (Todd) Perrin is the founder of and principal attorney at Clarus Law.  Ms. Perrin is certified by the State Bar of California's Board of Specialization as a Family Law Specialist, a distinction given to a minority of family law practitioners who have met rigorous criteria.  Ms. Perrin is a certified mediator and collaborative family law attorney.  In addition to her nearly two decades of legal experience in Los Angeles County and Ventura County Courts, she has completed more than 100 hours of mediation and collaborative divorce training, and she has successfully completed numerous private divorce mediations and volunteer court mediations.  Her practice covers a broad range of family law areas, including divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support, modification of support, division of community property, confirmation of separate property, post-judgment proceedings, domestic violence proceedings, and negotiation of family law disputes.
